Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most affordable way into this Butterfly Knife finish, with heavy loss of black coating on the handles and spine. The laminate inlays turn duller, yet the black-and-grey palette survives, so the knife still reads as dark and restrained. The butterfly animations stay the same in every condition.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The blade has a stonewashed finish: mottled grey steel with darker clouding and a brighter polished edge, topped by a black spine and black serrations near the pivot. Both handles are black with round cutouts along their length, and the open slots show inlays of layered laminate in grey, white and near-black stripes.

Large patches of black coating are gone from the handles and spine, leaving a mix of black and bare metal. The laminate inlays are dull and heavily scuffed. The blade is dark and blotchy across its surface. From a distance the knife still reads as black and grey, but up close the damage is obvious.
