Skin overview

This Doppler Phase 3 balisong is recognised by its blue marbled blade, where dark ink-like patches drift through lighter electric blue. In Minimal Wear the colour is still saturated, and any marks are small and mostly near the tip and edges, easy to miss during flips and inspects. It keeps the look of the phase while asking less from the buyer than the cleanest grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers only the blade: a marbled anodized coat in deep blue and navy, with lighter blue streaks and a violet tint where the colour pools. Darker, nearly black clouds run through the blade, so each copy shows its own arrangement of light and dark areas.

In Minimal Wear faint scratches may appear near the tip and along the edge, with occasional light marks on the spine. The rest of the blade keeps its marbled blue colour and gloss. At normal viewing distance and during flips the difference from Factory New is hard to spot; it shows mainly when you inspect the blade closely. The handles are unchanged.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Butterfly Knife | Doppler Phase 3 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the pattern in the inspect view, since the balance of dark patches and bright blue on the blade differs from copy to copy.
  • Check the tip and cutting edge for scratches, especially on Minimal Wear copies near the top of the range.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
  • Compare the float against the wear range, because a copy near the clean end looks closer to the preview.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Phase 3 look in game and accept faint marks seen only up close.
  • Buyers entering Doppler balisongs who prefer to save compared with the cleanest grade.
  • A practical way to own this phase with almost the same in-game look.
