Skin overview
The Sapphire phase of the Doppler reads as a solid sapphire-blue blade with soft marbling, set against black handles with cyan channels. In Minimal Wear the colour stays just as saturated, and any marks are tiny specks near the tip that are hard to spot in hand. For a buyer this grade gives the same blue blade at the more worn end of a very narrow float range.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The whole blade, including the spine and the clip point, is covered in a deep blue anodized coat with darker indigo and violet marbling and lighter blue highlights along the edge. The marbled clouds are irregular, so each copy shows a slightly different arrangement of dark and bright areas.
In Minimal Wear small specks of lighter metal can appear at the very tip and in spots along the edge. The rest of the blade, including the marbling, keeps the same saturated blue as a Factory New copy. In game at normal distance the difference is practically invisible, and the handles look clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Butterfly Knife | Doppler Sapphire ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the narrow range, since the cleanest values keep the tip completely free of marks.
- Look at the tip and the sharpened edge in the inspect view, as these are the first places where the blue coat breaks.
- Compare the balance of dark and bright marbling on the blade, because some buyers prefer an evenly bright blue and others a darker one.
- Check for a name tag and whether a StatTrak™ counter is present if that matters to you.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want the same blue blade in game and do not mind tiny marks at the tip.
- Buyers looking for a more accessible way into the Sapphire phase.
- Conclusion: practically the same look in play at a lower grade.
