★ Gut Knife | Doppler (Phase 4) pairs a deep blue candy-coated blade with dark, smoky marbling and pale silver highlights along the edge. In Factory New the coating is unbroken, so the blue stays saturated from the gut hook to the tip and the marbling keeps its soft depth. The natural wooden handle with its rivets sets off the cold colour of the blade.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
Appearance in Factory New
The whole blade, including the gut hook and the serrated spine, is covered in an anodized coating of deep blue with dark, smoke-like marbling concentrated in the middle of the blade. Toward the cutting edge and the tip the colour lightens into silvery blue highlights, which outline the blade shape.
The candy coating is complete across the blade, the hook and the spine teeth. The blue marbling looks glossy and deep, and the silver highlights near the edge stay crisp. In game at normal distance the knife reads as a clean, solid blue blade against the wooden grip. Nothing on the visible surfaces looks scratched.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Gut Knife | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
It drops as a rare special item from:
- Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015)
- Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015)
- Chroma 3 Case
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the range, since lower floats keep the tip and spine teeth cleaner.
- Inspect the pattern, because the placement of the dark marbling differs from copy to copy and changes how much bright blue is visible.
- Check the tip, the gut hook and the serrated spine up close for the first breaks in the coating.
- Note whether the knife carries a name tag or the StatTrak™ counter and whether that matches what you want.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the blue phase in its cleanest form, with an unbroken coating on the tip and hook.
- Players who inspect their knife often and want the marbling to look deep and glossy every time.
- Conclusion: the choice for those who want this phase without any compromise in condition.
