Skin overview

This Phase 4 Doppler is built on blue: the blade carries a cobalt marbled finish with black swirls through its centre and a lighter sheen near the cutting edge. In Minimal Wear the finish is still almost entirely intact, and any marks are small and sit on the tip or the spine rather than across the colour. It is a way to own the same blue look at the less pristine end of the available condition range.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole blade, including the gut hook and the serrated spine, is covered in an anodized coating of deep blue with dark, smoke-like marbling concentrated in the middle of the blade. Toward the cutting edge and the tip the colour lightens into silvery blue highlights, which outline the blade shape.

Light scuffs may appear at the very tip and on the raised spine teeth, where the coating thins first. The marbled blue across the flat of the blade remains intact and keeps its colour. At normal distance in game these marks are practically invisible, and the knife looks almost the same as a Factory New copy. Only close inspection shows the small breaks in the finish.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Gut Knife | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the range, since lower floats keep the tip and spine teeth cleaner.
  • Inspect the pattern, because the placement of the dark marbling differs from copy to copy and changes how much bright blue is visible.
  • Check the tip, the gut hook and the serrated spine up close for the first breaks in the coating.
  • Note whether the knife carries a name tag or the StatTrak™ counter and whether that matches what you want.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the blue Doppler look in game, where the small marks at the tip are not noticeable.
  • Buyers who are fine with a tiny compromise in condition for the same colour and pattern.
  • Conclusion: a sensible entry into this phase when in-game appearance matters more than a perfect finish.
