★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Crimson Web (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

The red-and-black web is easy to recognise even when the paint starts to give way. In Field-Tested the tip and cutting edge pick up silver scuffs. The flat of the blade still holds a solid red field with a visible web. The knife reads as used rather than damaged.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The blade is painted red along its full length, and a black spider web hydrographic covers the flat and runs toward the Tanto point. The serrated teeth on the spine and the long fuller line carry the same red.

Silver scratches are clearly visible at the tip and along the cutting edge, and the spine teeth lose paint at their points. The central part of the blade still holds solid red with a readable web. The guard and pommel may show light rubbing on their edges. At normal distance the knife reads as red with a worn, lighter tip.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Crimson Web is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014) — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

• Look at where the web lands on the blade face, since a centred and complete web reads better than one pushed to the edge.
• Check the tip and cutting edge in inspect, because silver scratches appear there first.
• Factory New is a narrow range for this skin, so compare it with a low Minimal Wear copy before paying the difference.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version or a name tag, as both change the offer you are comparing.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want a clearly red knife with a visible web at a lower cost.
• Buyers who don't mind a worn tip that is rarely noticed in game.
• A balanced middle grade for everyday play.
