Skin overview

The recognisable part of this Huntsman Knife is its blade: a marbled pink-and-blue Doppler pattern set against a black ribbed grip with red bolts. In Minimal Wear the colours keep their depth, and any marks are tiny and sit near the tip or the spine teeth. It offers almost the same look in game as the cleanest grade at a less demanding condition.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole blade is covered with a marbled Doppler finish where pink and magenta swirls blend into blue, violet and pale silver-white patches under a glossy candy coat. The colour continues along the fuller line, the sawback teeth on the spine and the finger guard, which takes on a violet tint.

In Minimal Wear small scuffs can appear on the Tanto tip and on the edges of the spine teeth, where the paint is thinnest. The flat middle of the blade and the fuller area normally stay clean, and the colours remain bright. At normal distance in game the knife looks almost identical to a Factory New copy. Marks become visible mainly when inspecting the knife up close.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Doppler Phase 1 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It drops as a rare special item from:

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the screenshot or inspect the knife in game, since the balance of pink, blue and lighter areas differs between copies of Phase 1.
  • Check the float position within the wear range, because a low float keeps the tip and spine teeth cleaner.
  • Examine the Tanto tip and the sawback teeth closely, as these are the first places where scuffs show.
  • Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ version and check for a name tag if the name matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the bright Doppler look in game and do not mind tiny marks at the tip.
  • Buyers looking for an easier entry into this knife while keeping nearly the same appearance.
  • Minimal Wear is a practical choice that gives up very little visually.
