★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Safari Mesh (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is a field camouflage knife: a desert-toned net pattern over a serrated Huntsman blade with a black grip. In Minimal Wear the pattern is still complete, and any light rubbing hides along the edge where the finish is already pale. In first person it reads almost the same as the cleanest grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is sprayed in pale khaki and sage tones with a lighter net pattern stencilled across it from mesh fencing, while brighter silvery patches sit along the edge and the spine. The serrated spine teeth, the swept belly and the angular Tanto point all carry the same camouflage.

Small scuffs may appear at the very tip and on the points of the spine teeth. The flat of the blade and the guard remain clean, and the mesh pattern is complete. At normal distance the knife is practically identical to Factory New. The difference is mostly visible on close inspection.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Huntsman Knife | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014) — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the grade, since in the middle grades it decides how much bare metal shows along the edge.
• Look at the tip and the spine teeth on the inspect screen, as these are the first places to lose paint.
• Compare the amount of mesh left near the guard on worn copies, because that area carries the remaining camouflage.
• Check whether the knife is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag, as both are visible in game.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a look almost identical to Factory New at a lower grade.
• Buyers who are fine with tiny scuffs at the tip that are not visible in play.
• A sensible choice for a clean-looking knife without paying for the top grade.
