Skin overview

This grade keeps the same cool blue camo on the blade and ring, with navy, bright blue and pale accents arranged in soft blotches. Minimal Wear copies may carry a few tiny marks near the edge or tip that are hard to spot during the inspect animation. It is the choice for a buyer who wants the clean look and is willing to accept slight flaws at this grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The curved blade is fully covered in a hydrographic camo of navy, medium blue and pale icy-blue blotches, with a thin silver cutting edge along the inner curve. The handle is a dark charcoal grip with deep finger grooves, framed by blue textured inset panels that echo the blade colour.

Small specks of missing paint may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge. The blade surface and ring stay almost fully covered. At normal distance it is hard to tell from Factory New, and the difference shows mostly in close inspect. The handle remains clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Karambit | Bright Water is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since a low float keeps more paint on the tip and edge.
  • Look at the tip and spine of the blade in the inspect view, where scratches appear first.
  • Compare the camo placement on the blade, as the hydrographic falls slightly differently from copy to copy.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Buyers who want a near-clean look and can accept tiny marks at the tip.
  • Players who inspect the knife often but rarely zoom in on the edge.
  • A sensible step down from Factory New with almost the same look in game.
