Skin overview

★ M9 Bayonet | Doppler (Phase 4) is a knife with a candy-coated blade in deep blue, run through with darker marbled swirls and lighter streaks along the spine. In Factory New the coating is at its cleanest, so the blue gradient stays even from tip to guard and the marbling keeps its full depth. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the blade to look exactly as it does on the clean render.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole blade is covered in a deep blue candy coat with violet undertones, broken up by darker smoky marbling across the flat. Lighter blue streaks run along the spine and the serrated back, and the cut-out near the tip catches a bright highlight.

In Factory New the candy coat is intact over the entire blade, including the tip and the serration teeth. Copies toward the upper end of the grade may show tiny specks near the point, but they are hard to spot even on inspection. In game the blade reads as a solid, glossy blue with clear marbling at any distance. The guard, ring and grip look untouched.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of ★ StatTrak™ M9 Bayonet | Doppler Phase 4 ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since the tip and cutting edge are the first places to show marks.
  • Look at the pattern on the inspect screen, because the balance of dark marbling and bright blue differs from copy to copy.
  • Inspect the serration teeth and the point closely on Minimal Wear copies.
  • Note whether the knife has a name tag or the StatTrak™ counter if either matters to you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the Phase 4 colours with no visible marks.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want an even blue finish every time.
  • Factory New is the choice when a clean blade matters more than the extra cost.
