Skin overview

The same blue Phase 4 Doppler finish on the M9 Bayonet, with its marbled dark patches and bright edge highlights, is offered here in Minimal Wear. At this grade the coating has picked up only faint marks, usually near the tip and cutting edge, while the overall colour stays saturated. It keeps the look of the phase while letting the buyer pay less than for a Factory New copy.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole blade is covered in a deep blue candy coat with violet undertones, broken up by darker smoky marbling across the flat. Lighter blue streaks run along the spine and the serrated back, and the cut-out near the tip catches a bright highlight.

In Minimal Wear small scuffs appear on the tip and along the cutting edge, and a few light marks may show on the serration teeth. These spots let a little of the silver base through but do not break the blue gradient. At normal viewing distance in game the knife looks almost the same as a Factory New copy. The flat of the blade, the guard and the grip stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ M9 Bayonet | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It drops as a rare special item from:

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since the tip and cutting edge are the first places to show marks.
  • Look at the pattern on the inspect screen, because the balance of dark marbling and bright blue differs from copy to copy.
  • Inspect the serration teeth and the point closely on Minimal Wear copies.
  • Note whether the knife has a name tag or the StatTrak™ counter if either matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the blue Doppler look in game for less than a Factory New copy.
  • Buyers entering this phase on the M9 Bayonet who can accept faint marks on the tip.
  • Minimal Wear is a sensible compromise, as the difference is barely visible during play.
