Skin overview
Phase 3 gives this M9 Bayonet a cool palette of saturated blue with patches of green near the base, layered over smoky black marbling. In Minimal Wear the blade keeps its glossy candy look, and any marks are small and sit near the tip or the edges. In normal play it is hard to tell apart from a cleaner copy, which makes it a sensible choice for a buyer who values the look over a perfect float.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The blade carries the Doppler coating: a deep blue base that shifts to violet along the spine and to teal and green near the guard, with dark smoky marbling running through it. The serrated saw-back and the hole near the tip sit inside the colour field and break it up with sharp light highlights.
In Minimal Wear small scratches appear at the tip of the blade and may extend slightly along the cutting edge or onto the saw-back teeth. The marks are thin and light, so they read as occasional glints rather than damage. In game at normal distance the blade looks practically the same as Factory New. The main colour field, the guard and the handle stay clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ M9 Bayonet | Doppler Phase 3 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It drops as a rare special item from:
- Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015)
- Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015)

StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Look at the screenshot of the specific copy, since the balance of blue, violet and green differs from one pattern to another.
- Check the tip of the blade and the saw-back teeth, where the first scratches show up.
- Note where the float sits within the wear range, as copies near the top of a grade show marks earlier.
- Check whether the knife has a name tag and whether a StatTrak™ counter is present if that matters to you.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want the Phase 3 look in game and do not need a top float.
- Buyers looking for a more accessible entry to this knife without a visible loss in quality at normal distance.
- Minimal Wear suits those who value the colours over a perfect finish.
