Boreal Forest on the Nomad Knife is a woodland camouflage that, in Battle-Scarred, takes on a rough, heavily used character. Large areas of the blade show scratched paint and exposed metal, while patches of olive and mint survive in the more protected spots. The float range stops short of the maximum, so the pattern is never stripped completely.

Large scratched areas cover the blade, with exposed metal running from the spine and edge towards the middle. The handle frame shows heavy wear on all raised parts, and the colours look dull overall. In game the knife reads as rough and heavily used. Some olive and mint patches still survive in the more protected areas of the blade.
