Skin overview

★ Nomad Knife | Doppler (Ruby) pairs a broad hunting blade with a deep red candy-coated finish over dark, smoky marbling. Ruby is a single-colour Doppler phase, so the whole blade stays in one saturated crimson tone. In Factory New the finish has no visible marks, and the glossy red runs cleanly from the heel to the tip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is fully coated in deep red, lighter and slightly pinkish toward the edge and tip, with dark smoky marbling spread across the flat. The bolster is bare silver steel with a visible pivot screw, and the handle combines a polished metal frame with a row of small holes and a black textured composite insert.

In Factory New the red coating is intact over the whole blade, including the tip and edge. The marbling reads sharp and the gloss looks even in both hand and inspect views. Copies near the top of the range may show nothing at all even under close inspection. At normal distance the knife reads as a clean, solid red blade.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Nomad Knife | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It drops from Fever Case as a rare special item.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge first, since the red coating wears there before anywhere else.
  • Compare the marbling across offers, as the amount and placement of the dark veins differ from copy to copy.
  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, because a lower value means fewer marks near the tip.
  • Look for a name tag and decide whether it suits you before buying.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the cleanest possible Ruby blade.
  • Players who use the inspect animation often and notice small marks.
  • Conclusion: the choice for a flawless red finish without compromise.
