Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred much of the paint on the Nomad Knife is gone, leaving large areas of bare steel on the blade and handle. The purple survives mainly in the recessed parts of the scales, so the look becomes metal with traces of colour rather than a purple knife. It is the most affordable way to carry the Ultraviolet name, with a clearly weathered appearance.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The blade is painted a dark matte grey, with a slightly lighter bevel along the cutting edge and a darker bolster where it meets the handle. The handle scales are a saturated purple, broken up by a pivot screw, a row of small holes and contoured finger grooves.

Most of the blade is bare steel, with grey paint surviving only in scattered patches. The purple scales are heavily stripped, keeping colour mainly in recesses and around the insert. In game the knife reads as worn metal with purple accents. The textured grip insert, being dark already, shows the change least.
