Skin overview

The skin keeps its simple formula: purple painted scales, a charcoal blade and a dark grip insert, with no pattern to distract from the colour. Minimal Wear copies usually show only tiny marks near the tip or along the edges of the handle, which are hard to spot in first person. It is a close visual match to the cleanest grade at a more accessible level.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is painted a dark matte grey, with a slightly lighter bevel along the cutting edge and a darker bolster where it meets the handle. The handle scales are a saturated purple, broken up by a pivot screw, a row of small holes and contoured finger grooves.

Small specks of bare metal may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge. The purple scales stay almost intact, with at most faint marks on their outer edges. At normal viewing distance in first person these details are barely noticeable. The handle insert and the main surfaces of the blade look clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Nomad Knife | Ultraviolet ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

It is the rare special item of Fever Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since paint loss on this solid colour finish grows quickly as the value rises.
  • Look closely at the tip, the cutting edge and the blade spine, where bare metal shows first.
  • Inspect the edges of the purple scales and the area around the screws and holes for chips.
  • Pattern placement does not change the colours here, so compare copies by wear rather than by seed.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Buyers who accept tiny marks at the tip that are hard to see in game.
  • Conclusion: a sensible balance between appearance and cost.
