Show allAllSkin overview
This Paracord Knife carries a dusty khaki and olive spray finish that reads more like working gear than decoration. In Field-Tested the camouflage is still clearly recognisable, but bare steel begins to show along the edge, the tip and the rims of the blade slot. The scuffs fit the utilitarian theme of the paint.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The blade is a tanto-style shape with a long through-slot, painted in a grey-olive base with lighter tan blotches and a faint mesh pattern laid over the whole surface. The notched area near the guard and the spine carry the same muted colours, so the knife has no contrasting accents.
In Field-Tested the specks grow into small scratches of bare steel on the tip, the edge and the spine, and the rims of the slot begin to lose paint. The flat of the blade still holds most of the camouflage, and the mesh is readable. In game the wear shows mainly on inspect animations, where the light edges catch the eye. The handle cord looks slightly duller.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Paracord Knife | Safari Mesh is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Compare the float within the chosen wear, since in Field-Tested and above it decides how much bare steel shows at the tip and edge.
- Inspect the rims of the blade slot and the spine, which lose paint early and are visible during inspect animations.
- Pattern placement shifts the tan blotches slightly but does not change the skin much, so judge copies mainly by wear.
- Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag if either matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want a ★ knife for everyday use and accept light edge wear.
- Buyers who like scuffs that suit the field-gear theme.
- A balanced middle option for play.
