Skin overview

★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler (Phase 4) is a skeleton-tang knife with a finger ring, finished in a blue and violet marbled candy coat over a dark metallic base. Phase 4 is the blue-heavy variant of Doppler, and in Factory New the coat stays deep and glossy across the whole blade. The marble veins look crisp from the tip to the ring.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The blade is covered in a translucent blue candy coat over a black and silver marbled base, with lighter blue streaks running along the length and darker violet patches toward the spine. The three spine holes and the finger ring carry the same blue marbling, framed by darker tones around the guard.

In Factory New the candy coat is complete on the blade, ring and spine holes. Even close to the upper end of the grade, damage is rare and limited to a faint mark near the tip. In game the blade reads as a solid glossy blue with clear marbling in the inspect animation. The tape-wrapped handle shows no change.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

It drops from Fever Case as a rare special item.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the balance of bright blue and purple on the blade, since Phase 4 copies differ noticeably by pattern.
  • Look at the float position within the grade, because a lower float keeps the tip and edge cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge closely, as these are the first places where the coat thins.
  • Check for a name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™, as both change how the item is valued.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the full glossy coat with no marks on the tip.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want the marbling to look crisp up close.
  • Conclusion: the grade for those who value a complete finish.
