Skin overview

This is the Doppler Phase 4 finish on the Skeleton Knife in its second and last available grade, still close to a fresh copy. The blue marbling and violet tones stay intact, and any marks are small and sit on the tip or the edge. It offers the same colour story as Factory New for a buyer who does not need an untouched coat.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade is covered in a translucent blue candy coat over a black and silver marbled base, with lighter blue streaks running along the length and darker violet patches toward the spine. The three spine holes and the finger ring carry the same blue marbling, framed by darker tones around the guard.

Minimal Wear covers a very narrow range, so the coat still looks almost untouched. Small specks can appear at the tip and along the cutting edge, sometimes with a slight dulling of the gloss there. At normal distance and in the inspect animation these are hard to see, and the blue marbling reads the same as on Factory New. The flat of the blade, the ring and the handle stay clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of Fever Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the balance of bright blue and purple on the blade, since Phase 4 copies differ noticeably by pattern.
  • Look at the float position within the grade, because a lower float keeps the tip and edge cleaner.
  • Inspect the tip and the cutting edge closely, as these are the first places where the coat thins.
  • Check for a name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™, as both change how the item is valued.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Buyers who want the Phase 4 blue look and accept tiny marks on the edge.
  • Players who care about how the knife reads in game rather than under close inspection.
  • Conclusion: practically the same view in game with a small compromise on the tip.
