Skin overview

The Case Hardened finish turns the Stiletto Knife's long blade and metal fittings into a patchwork of golden and blue-violet heat tints. In Minimal Wear the pattern keeps its depth, and any marks are faint enough to disappear in normal play. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a more moderate level of wear.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The long, narrow blade is mostly golden yellow, with blue and violet heat tints gathering near the tip and at the base by the bolster. The bolster, guard and pommel show the strongest iridescent blue-purple tones, giving the knife a bright accent at both ends of the handle.

Faint marks can appear near the cutting edge and tip of the blade on close inspection. The colours remain nearly as vivid as in Factory New, and the bolster and pommel stay clean. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to see. The flat of the blade and the handle look essentially pristine.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Stiletto Knife | Case Hardened is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
