Skin overview

★ Survival Knife | Doppler (Sapphire) is the Sapphire phase of the Doppler finish on the Survival Knife, with the blade covered almost entirely in deep blue and violet marbling. Dark veins run through the colour, and the black composite handle leaves all the attention on the blade. In Factory New the candy coat reads as an even, glossy layer from the tip to the guard.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade is coated in a marbled pattern of deep blue that shifts into violet toward the middle and lighter blue near the tip, crossed by dark, almost black veins. The colour covers the flat of the blade, the area around the long cutout and the gut hook, while the spine serrations stay bare silver steel.

In Factory New the blue and violet layer is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and the edge. The gloss of the candy coat is even, and the dark veins keep sharp contrast. In game the blade reads as a solid saturated blue at any normal distance. The black handle looks the same in every grade, since it carries no paint.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Survival Knife | Doppler Sapphire is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It is the rare special item of Fever Case — knives and gloves drop far less often than the regular contents.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the range, since lower values mean a cleaner tip.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely, as that is where silver shows through first.
  • Look at how much violet versus blue the pattern shows, because the balance varies between copies.
  • Check for a name tag and whether it suits you, as it stays on the item.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the Sapphire phase with a fully intact tip.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want an even, glossy blade.
  • In short, the choice for those who want the cleanest look.
