Skin overview

This Survival Knife carries the Sapphire phase of Doppler: a saturated blue blade with violet zones and dark marbled streaks, set against a plain black grip. The finish has a low upper float limit, so Minimal Wear here is a narrow band close to the cleanest grade. The colour still dominates, with only faint traces of use possible near the tip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The blade is coated in a marbled pattern of deep blue that shifts into violet toward the middle and lighter blue near the tip, crossed by dark, almost black veins. The colour covers the flat of the blade, the area around the long cutout and the gut hook, while the spine serrations stay bare silver steel.

Minimal Wear on this finish is limited to a short span near the top of the float range, so damage stays light. Small silver specks may appear at the very tip and along the cutting edge first. The flat of the blade and the area around the cutout usually remain fully coloured. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Survival Knife | Doppler Sapphire is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

It drops from Fever Case as a rare special item.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the range, since lower values mean a cleaner tip.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely, as that is where silver shows through first.
  • Look at how much violet versus blue the pattern shows, because the balance varies between copies.
  • Check for a name tag and whether it suits you, as it stays on the item.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Sapphire colour in game and do not mind tiny marks at the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a lower entry into this phase without a visible loss of colour.
  • In short, a practical option that looks close to Factory New in play.
