Skin overview

This Black Pearl Doppler on the Ursus Knife is recognisable by its near-black blade with smoky blue and silver marbling. In Minimal Wear the dark coating still reads as solid and deep, and any light marks sit close to the tip and the edge, where they are hard to spot in hand. It is a way to get the same phase colours for less than a Factory New copy.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The blade carries the whole finish: a black base with dark navy and violet areas and pale silver-blue marble veins running along the flat towards the tanto tip. The serrated section near the guard and the edge bevel pick up lighter highlights, which makes the faceted shape visible.

Small scuffs may appear at the very tip and in spots along the cutting edge, usually visible only on close inspection. The flat of the blade and the marbling near the guard stay intact. In game at normal distance the knife looks practically the same as a Factory New copy. Higher floats in this grade are more likely to show the tip marks.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Doppler Black Pearl ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare how much silver-blue marbling the blade shows, since some Black Pearl patterns look almost entirely black.
  • Check the tip and cutting edge in the inspect view, as that is where wear appears first.
  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, especially for Minimal Wear copies near the upper end.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it has a name tag you are happy with.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Black Pearl colours in game and do not mind faint marks near the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a lower-cost way into this phase on the Ursus Knife.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look in play, with savings over Factory New.
