Skin overview

★ Ursus Knife | Forest DDPAT is a tanto survival knife with woodland pixel camouflage on the blade and a solid olive handle. In Battle-Scarred the camouflage is broken up by large areas of bare steel, leaving the pixel pattern mostly in the middle of the blade. The result reads like a field knife that has seen heavy use, and it is the most accessible way into this model.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The tanto blade is covered with a digital camouflage of small square blocks in tan, beige, olive green, dark green and dark brown, applied as a hydrographic over the faceted steel. The pattern runs from the angled tip to the guard, including the serrated section near the handle.

Most of the edges, the tip, the spine and the serrations are bare steel, and wear reaches deep into the facets. The pixel camouflage survives mainly as patches in the centre of the blade. In game the knife reads as a mix of metal and faded camouflage rather than a full pattern. The olive grip is the cleanest part of the knife.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value in the same grade means a cleaner tip and edge.
  • Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the serrations, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Look at the centre of the blade on worn copies to see how much of the pixel pattern is left.
  • Check for a name tag and decide whether a StatTrak™ counter matters to you.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers who want an Ursus Knife in the inventory.
  • Players who like a heavily worn mix of steel and faded camouflage.
  • Conclusion: the most accessible entry into this knife.
