Show allAllSkin overview
The appeal of this knife is restraint: a faceted tanto blade in dark blue-grey with lighter stripes laid over it by tape masking. In Minimal Wear that look stays intact at a glance, and any marks sit on the tip and cutting edge. It gives nearly the same impression as the top grade and is the more common pick of the two.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The blade is a tanto shape with a straight edge and a short serrated section near the guard, painted dark slate blue with wide, softly sprayed lighter stripes running diagonally across the flat. The pattern comes from tape masking, so the stripes have straight but slightly blurred borders.
Small scuffs may appear on the tip and along the cutting edge, sometimes on the serrations. The flat of the blade, the stripes and the grip remain clean. At normal viewing distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. Lower floats in this grade look practically untouched.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Night Stripe ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since paint loss on the edge and tip grows noticeably inside Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
- Look at the tip, the serrations and the cutting edge on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
- Compare how much of the striped pattern remains on the flat of the blade on worn copies.
- Decide whether you want StatTrak™ or a name tag, since the skin exists in both regular and StatTrak™ versions.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without hunting for the top grade.
- Buyers who rarely inspect the tip closely.
- A practical choice with almost the same look as Factory New.
