Skin overview

This Stiletto Knife carries a sun-dappled spray-paint pattern in shades of black and grey that resembles soot left after a fire. In Field-Tested light steel starts to show through the paint along the blade edge and on the metal fittings. The contrast fits the burnt theme of the skin and gives it a used, working-tool character.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The narrow blade is coated in mottled spray-paint of black, charcoal and smoky grey, with lighter streaks running along its length. The bolster and the small guard quillons carry the same dark tones, so the front of the knife reads as one piece.

Field-Tested shows a visible line of bare steel along the edge and wear at the tip. The quillons, bolster and pommel cap start losing paint on their raised parts. In game the light metal accents are noticeable when inspecting, but the overall dark look holds. The handle sides and most of the blade flat still carry the pattern.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since lower values keep more paint on the edge and tip.
  • Inspect the blade edge, tip, quillons and pommel first, as these parts lose paint before the rest.
  • Compare a few copies, because the random placement of light and dark blotches changes how the handle looks.
  • Look for a name tag and decide whether it fits your taste, since stickers cannot be applied to knives.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who like light steel accents against the dark paint.
  • Buyers looking for a knife that fits the burnt theme without paying for clean grades.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
