Skin overview

★ Survival Knife | Doppler (Ruby) is a tactical knife with a deep red candy-coated blade over dark marbled veins. The Ruby phase keeps the whole blade in one red tone with darker smoky streaks, set against a plain dark composite grip. In Factory New the coat reads glossy and unbroken from the gut hook to the tip.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The blade carries the full Ruby finish: a saturated red candy coat over black and silver marbling, which shows through as darker cloudy veins. The red runs across the flat of the blade, around the long cutout, the gut hook and the serrated section near the guard, where the silver teeth stay visible. The handle is a dark grey composite with textured panels and is not painted, with a small red accent at the lanyard hole. On worn copies the first changes appear at the tip and along the edges, where the coat can thin and let lighter metal show.

The red coat is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and the edges of the cutout. The marbling looks deep and the gloss is even. In game the knife reads as a clean solid red at any distance. The grip shows no visible change.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of ★ Survival Knife | Doppler Ruby ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the tip of the blade in inspect, as that is where marks show first.
  • Compare the amount and placement of dark marbling, since it differs between copies and changes how bright the red looks.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag you want to keep.
  • Note where the float sits in its grade, as a cleaner Minimal Wear copy looks closer to Factory New.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Ruby coat with no marks on the tip.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want an even gloss.
  • A clean finish for those who want the knife to look exactly as designed.
