★ Survival Knife | Safari Mesh is a sand-and-olive camouflage finish on a tactical knife with a serrated spine section, a gut hook and a long slot through the blade. In Factory New the mesh net and the soft patches of khaki and pale green sit evenly over the whole knife, with sharp borders between the tones. The look is quiet and practical, and this grade keeps it in its most even form.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The whole knife is covered in a spray-painted camouflage of sand, light khaki and greyish olive, with a darker net pattern laid over it through mesh fencing and cardboard stencils. On the blade the tones shift softly from grey-green near the tip to warmer sand toward the guard, and the net runs across the flat and around the long slot. The handle carries the same palette, with the mesh showing on the grip panels between the raised ridges and around the hex nuts. The spine section with the serrations and the gut hook is painted too, but these thin, exposed parts are the first to lose paint. On worn copies the cutting edge, the serrations, the tip and the raised ridges of the handle fade first, while the flat of the blade and the recessed panels hold colour longest.
The camouflage is complete on the blade, the serrations, the gut hook and the handle. The net pattern has crisp lines and the transitions between sand and olive look soft and clean. In game the knife reads as a uniform matte tan-and-green object with no visible metal. Every edge and ridge still carries paint.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since a low value keeps the edge and serrations noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the cutting edge, the serrations and the gut hook first, because these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Pattern placement shifts the mesh slightly from copy to copy but rarely changes the overall look, so focus on wear rather than seed.
- Knives cannot carry stickers, so only a name tag and the StatTrak™ counter can set one copy apart from another.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the Survival Knife in its cleanest, fully painted state.
- Players who prefer a calm, matte knife without metal glints in inspect.
- Conclusion: the choice for those who value a flawless finish over saving.
