Skin overview

The Sapphire phase of the Doppler on the Ursus Knife is defined by its solid blue blade with violet clouding and lighter blue highlights, set against a plain olive grip. In Minimal Wear the colour reads almost the same as on a fresh copy, with only fine marks that need close inspection to notice. It is a way to own this phase in a grade that looks nearly untouched in normal play.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole blade, including the angled tanto tip and the serrated section near the guard, is coated in deep sapphire blue with violet and indigo marbling. Lighter blue patches and darker swirls run along the flat of the blade, giving the candy coating a layered, smoky look.

Light scratches may appear at the very tip and in spots along the cutting edge, sometimes reaching the serrations. The flat of the blade keeps its colour and marbling, so the overall Sapphire look is unchanged. In game at normal distance the marks are hard to spot, especially on the first-person inspect view only up close. The grip and guard remain clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ Ursus Knife | Doppler Sapphire ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since a lower value means a cleaner tip and edge.
  • Look at the inspect screenshot for the balance of blue and violet on the blade, as the tone can differ between copies.
  • Zoom in on the tip and the serrated section, which are the first places to lose paint.
  • Note whether the copy has StatTrak™ or a name tag if that matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the same blue look in play and accept faint marks seen only up close.
  • Buyers who prefer to save compared with the cleanest grade while keeping the phase.
  • Minimal Wear gives nearly the full Sapphire effect at a more accessible grade.
