Skin overview

AUG | Plague is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle finish in the Gunsmith style, inspired by dark fantasy and horror. The dark body carries a dense pale ornament of veins and curling filigree that looks etched into the metal. In Factory New every fine line of the pattern stays sharp, and the contrast between the near-black base and the silvery lines is at its strongest.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver, stock and top rail are finished in a dark charcoal base covered with a pale silvery ornament of veins, loops and filigree that reads like engraving. The same pattern runs over the trigger guard and the scope mount, while the barrel and muzzle stay plain matte black. The vertical foregrip is a worn greyish beige, and the ribbed magazine has a translucent amber-copper tone. On worn copies the rubbing appears first on the lower edge and butt of the stock, the trigger guard, the top rail and the front edges of the body, where the fine lines fade and grey base shows through.

The ornament is complete on every part, with crisp fine lines on the stock, receiver and trigger guard. The dark base is even and deep, with no grey rubbing on edges. In game the pale tracery stands out clearly against the black body at any distance. The barrel, foregrip and magazine look fresh and uniform.

Silver, white, black and holo stickers in monochrome tones blend with the pale engraving and keep the gloomy mood. A single accent in amber or copper echoes the magazine. Placements on the flat side of the stock read best against the dark base.
