Skin overview

AUG | Snake Pit is a Consumer Grade hydrographic finish that covers the rifle in a dense pattern of snakes and amphibians in cream, red and near-black. In Factory New the scales on the grip and magazine stay crisp and the red accents on the body keep their full depth. It is the copy for those who want the whole artwork intact.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and stock are covered in a dark, almost black base with snake bodies outlined in red and cream scale patches running along the sides. The pistol grip, foregrip and magazine are finished in a pale cream scale texture with dark gaps, making them the brightest parts of the rifle. The barrel, scope and top rail stay in plain dark grey metal without the pattern. On worn copies the first damage appears on the magazine and grip edges, the bottom of the stock and the corners around the trigger guard, where grey metal shows through the print.

The print is complete on every painted part, with sharp scale lines on the magazine and grip. The red outlines on the body keep their full contrast against the dark base. In game the rifle looks clean from any angle. The unpainted barrel and scope look the same in every grade.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of AUG | Snake Pit is 0–0.55; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (13% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
