Show allAllSkin overview
Snake Camo turns the AWP into a sand-coloured hunting rifle with hand-outlined reptile patches. In Field-Tested the camo still reads as a whole, but scuffs on the edges and raised parts add a used, field-worn character that suits this kind of finish. Many players see this as the grade where a camouflage skin looks most natural.
Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, scope body and thumbhole stock are painted in a sand-tan base with irregular darker brown patches, each outlined by a freehand line and filled with a fine snakeskin scale texture. The long barrel, muzzle brake, scope rings and bipod stay in dark unpainted metal, which frames the camo and keeps the rifle looking utilitarian.
Scuffs spread along the scope, the receiver top and the bolt area, and the first light wear shows on the stock edges. The scale texture softens slightly in spots, but the brown patches and outlines are still clear. In game the camo reads as a whole with a used look. The flat sides of the stock remain mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of AWP | Snake Camo is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
AWP | Snake Camo belongs to The Dust Collection, which holds 9 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality

Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Earthy browns, sand, olive and matte gold stickers blend with the tan snakeskin camo for a cohesive military look. A single dark or black sticker on the receiver side stands out well against the light base, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the scope and receiver edges show the difference first.
- Inspect the thumbhole and stock rims on worn copies to see how much bare metal shows through.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure they fit the look you want.
- Look at any name tag and existing stickers, as they change how the plain camo reads.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like camouflage skins with a natural, used look.
- Buyers who want the full pattern visible without paying for a clean copy.
- A sensible all-round pick for everyday play.
