Show allAllSkin overview
The recognisable part of this skin is the brown snakeskin stencil over a tan base, and in Well-Worn it is still clearly there, though the paint has thinned. Bare metal shows through on the scope, the receiver edges and around the thumbhole, giving the rifle a rough, weathered look. It suits buyers who want the camo style without paying for a clean copy.
Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The receiver, scope body and thumbhole stock are painted in a sand-tan base with irregular darker brown patches, each outlined by a freehand line and filled with a fine snakeskin scale texture. The long barrel, muzzle brake, scope rings and bipod stay in dark unpainted metal, which frames the camo and keeps the rifle looking utilitarian.
Bare metal shows clearly on the scope, along the receiver and around the thumbhole and stock rims. The tan base looks thinner and the scale texture fades in larger areas. In game the rifle reads as visibly worn, though the snakeskin patches are still recognisable. The central flat areas of the stock keep most of their paint.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of AWP | Snake Camo ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Dust Collection with 9 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

Stickers and crafts
Earthy browns, sand, olive and matte gold stickers blend with the tan snakeskin camo for a cohesive military look. A single dark or black sticker on the receiver side stands out well against the light base, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the scope and receiver edges show the difference first.
- Inspect the thumbhole and stock rims on worn copies to see how much bare metal shows through.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure they fit the look you want.
- Look at any name tag and existing stickers, as they change how the plain camo reads.
