Skin overview
This Restricted Desert Eagle finish is defined by its emerald World Serpent pattern wrapped around the whole gun. A Minimal Wear copy keeps the knotwork intact and readable. Any marks are small and sit on the outer edges, so in hand it looks almost the same as a fresh one.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The whole pistol is covered in green interlaced knotwork with serpent coils over a dark teal and navy base. On the slide the coils loop along the sides and over the top, and the barrel area repeats the same weave.
Light specks may appear at the muzzle and on the sharpest edges of the slide. The knotwork on the slide sides and grip is untouched. At normal view distance in game it is very hard to tell apart from Factory New. Colour depth is practically the same.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 15 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Green, gold and dark navy stickers blend well with the emerald knotwork. Holo or foil stickers in green tones placed along the slide keep the serpent theme consistent, while red or pink stickers stand out sharply against the pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer worn edges.
- Look at the muzzle, the top of the slide and the grip edges, as these lose the anodized colour first.
- Souvenir copies come with applied stickers, so judge whether they fit the green artwork.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag on regular copies too, as they change the overall look.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-flawless look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny edge specks under stickers do not matter.
- A sensible middle ground between appearance and cost.
