Skin overview

The serpent knotwork remains the first thing you notice on this Desert Eagle, even with clear wear. Well-Worn copies show patches of bare steel along the top of the slide, the barrel end and the grip edges. The green tone survives in the recessed areas, which gives a rougher, used look.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The whole pistol is covered in green interlaced knotwork with serpent coils over a dark teal and navy base. On the slide the coils loop along the sides and over the top, and the barrel area repeats the same weave.

Worn areas grow into patches on the top of the slide, around the barrel end and along the grip edges. Some knot lines near these edges are broken up by exposed steel. The middle of the slide sides and the grip panel still hold most of the pattern. In game the silhouette shows grey-silver outlines around a green core.

Souvenir version

Stickers and crafts

Green, gold and dark navy stickers blend well with the emerald knotwork. Holo or foil stickers in green tones placed along the slide keep the serpent theme consistent, while red or pink stickers stand out sharply against the pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer worn edges.
  • Look at the muzzle, the top of the slide and the grip edges, as these lose the anodized colour first.
  • Souvenir copies come with applied stickers, so judge whether they fit the green artwork.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag on regular copies too, as they change the overall look.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who still want the serpent pattern clearly visible.
  • Fans of a used look with metal showing on the edges.
  • Good value if a rougher finish does not bother you.
