Skin overview

Desert Eagle | Starcade is a Classified custom paint job built on a violet-blue base covered in metallic flake, crossed by bands of teal and red. In Factory New the glitter layer is complete and the colour borders stay sharp, so the slide reads as a solid sheet of sparkle. This grade suits buyers who want the artwork exactly as designed.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The slide and barrel are painted deep blue-violet with a dense metallic flake that sparkles across the whole surface. Toward the rear of the slide the base is crossed by diagonal bands of teal, green and red, with a red stripe near the hammer and a small red marking at the front. The frame and accessory rail shift into a glittering purple-pink, and the grip runs from orange and pink at the bottom to purple, cut by wide cyan stripes, with a red-orange magazine base. On worn copies the flake paint scrapes off first at the muzzle, the top and front edges of the slide, the rear serrations, the grip corners and the magazine base.

The metallic flake covers every part evenly, and the borders between blue, teal and red stay crisp. The muzzle, slide edges and grip corners show no bare metal. At normal distance the slide reads as a uniform field of glitter with clean stripes. Everything on the pistol looks as on the reference image.

Souvenir version

Which stickers suit it

Holo and foil stickers in cyan, purple or red pick up the metallic flake and the stripe colours. Placements on the blue section of the slide stand out best, while stickers near the teal bands blend into the design.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the grade, since a lower value keeps the slide edges and muzzle cleaner.
  • Inspect the muzzle, top of the slide, grip corners and magazine base, as these lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on Souvenir copies review the pre-applied stickers.
  • Compare screenshots in the inspect view, because the metallic flake can hide or exaggerate small scratches depending on lighting.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the metallic flake and stripes without any marks.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean base for holo or foil combinations.
  • The choice for an untouched Starcade.
