Skin overview

This Desert Eagle carries an abstract metallic flake design in blue, purple, teal and red, laid out in broad diagonal bands. In Well-Worn the glitter is broken up by scratches along the top and edges of the slide and on the grip, though the main colour blocks still hold together. It offers the Starcade palette with a visibly rough finish.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The slide and barrel are painted deep blue-violet with a dense metallic flake that sparkles across the whole surface. Toward the rear of the slide the base is crossed by diagonal bands of teal, green and red, with a red stripe near the hammer and a small red marking at the front.

Scratches cover the top of the slide and its edges, and bare metal shows through near the muzzle and serrations. The grip panels and magazine base are clearly scraped, dulling the cyan stripes at their borders. At normal distance the pistol looks rough, though the blue, teal and red blocks are still identifiable. The flat side surfaces keep patches of intact flake.

Holo and foil stickers in cyan, purple or red pick up the metallic flake and the stripe colours. Placements on the blue section of the slide stand out best, while stickers near the teal bands blend into the design.

• Look at the float position within the grade, since a lower value keeps the slide edges and muzzle cleaner.
• Inspect the muzzle, top of the slide, grip corners and magazine base, as these lose paint first.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on Souvenir copies review the pre-applied stickers.
• Compare screenshots in the inspect view, because the metallic flake can hide or exaggerate small scratches depending on lighting.
