Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Dualing Dragons turns the polished engraved pistols into a heavily worn pair, with large areas of the slides scraped down. The dragon etching survives in fragments, mostly on the flatter sides, while the wooden grips still carry the warm colour that identifies the skin. It reads as old, battered steel rather than a ceremonial finish.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

Both slides and barrels are dark gunmetal grey, almost fully covered in pale silver engraving of coiling dragons with fine scale and flame detail, matching the laser-etched dragons mentioned in the description. The grips are a warm red-brown wood with visible grain, each carrying a round silver dragon emblem and small dark screws.

Large portions of the slides and barrels are scraped, with the engraving surviving only in fragments, mostly on the flatter side panels. The wooden grips show heavy scratching on edges and raised areas, and the emblems are worn. In game the pistols read as battered dark metal with warm grips. The trigger guards and darker parts hide wear better than the etched surfaces.

The whole float range of Dual Berettas | Dualing Dragons is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

Stickers and crafts

Silver, black and red-brown stickers echo the engraving and the wood, while gold or holo stickers suit the ornate dragon theme. Placing them on the wooden grips or lower slide keeps the etched dragons visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the engraving on the top of the slides degrades quickly as wear grows.
  • Inspect the muzzles and top slide edges, which lose the finish first.
  • Look at applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the busy engraving reads.
  • Confirm whether you are buying the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version if that matters to you.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players who just want the skin on their pistols.
  • Those who like a heavily battered metal look.
  • The cheapest way into the design, with most engraving gone.
