Skin overview
This skin is recognised by its ornate silver dragon engraving on dark slides and barrels, set off by reddish wood grips with a dragon inlay. At Minimal Wear the look is almost indistinguishable from a fresh copy in normal play, with only faint marks visible on close inspection. It keeps the engraved, ceremonial character of the finish at a lower grade.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
Both slides and barrels are dark gunmetal grey, almost fully covered in pale silver engraving of coiling dragons with fine scale and flame detail, matching the laser-etched dragons mentioned in the description. The grips are a warm red-brown wood with visible grain, each carrying a round silver dragon emblem and small dark screws.
Small specks can appear on the very tips of the muzzles and the top corners of the slides. The engraving itself stays intact and the grips remain clean. In game the difference from Factory New is practically invisible at normal distance. It is a way to get the full look at a lower grade.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Dual Berettas | Dualing Dragons is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Dual Berettas | Dualing Dragons belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.
It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
What it costs in each quality
Taking Minimal Wear as the baseline:
- Factory New — 5.1× dearer
- Field-Tested — 1.8× cheaper
- Well-Worn — 2.1× cheaper
- Battle-Scarred — 2.1× cheaper
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 13 skins of the Dual Berettas in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.
StatTrak™ and Souvenir
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 2.5× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Silver, black and red-brown stickers echo the engraving and the wood, while gold or holo stickers suit the ornate dragon theme. Placing them on the wooden grips or lower slide keeps the etched dragons visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the engraving on the top of the slides degrades quickly as wear grows.
- Inspect the muzzles and top slide edges, which lose the finish first.
- Look at applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the busy engraving reads.
- Confirm whether you are buying the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version if that matters to you.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-new look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafts where small edge marks will not be noticed.
- A sensible balance of appearance and cost.
