Skin overview

FAMAS | CaliCamo is a spotted desert camouflage in tan, orange and cream, applied as a hydrographic print. In Battle-Scarred the camo is broken by grey metal on the handle, magazine and stock edges, giving the rifle a rough, used look. Because this skin's range stops short of the heaviest wear, even the most worn grade keeps much of the pattern on the body.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The carry handle, receiver and body are covered in small irregular spots of sand, tan, brown, rust-orange and cream that create a mottled desert camouflage. The magazine carries the same print in slightly lighter, paler tones, while the upper part of the stock behind the receiver is a darker olive-brown.

Large areas of the carry handle, magazine and stock edges are worn down to grey metal. The camo on the body is broken into scattered patches with dulled colours. In game the rifle reads as rough and heavily used, with the pattern still recognisable. The range ends before the heaviest wear, so a fair share of the print remains.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in sand, brown, orange or muted gold tones blend with the desert palette of the camo. Holo or gold stickers on the body side give a restrained accent without clashing with the salmon grip.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a lower value means cleaner edges on the carry handle and magazine.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the bottom of the magazine, as these parts lose paint first.
• The spotted pattern looks much the same on every copy, so placement differences matter little.
• For Souvenir copies, look at the applied stickers and how they sit on the camo.
