Skin overview

CaliCamo turns the FAMAS into a field rifle with a busy camouflage of tan, rust and cream patches and a salmon-coloured grip. In Field-Tested, scuffs appear on the edges of the handle and magazine, and they blend into the spotted pattern instead of standing out. The mottled print hides wear well, so this grade still reads as a complete camo in game.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The carry handle, receiver and body are covered in small irregular spots of sand, tan, brown, rust-orange and cream that create a mottled desert camouflage. The magazine carries the same print in slightly lighter, paler tones, while the upper part of the stock behind the receiver is a darker olive-brown.

Scuffs spread along the edges of the carry handle, the magazine and the corners of the stock. The colours start to look slightly duller on these exposed areas. In game the wear mixes with the mottled pattern and the camo still reads as whole. The central body and the grip stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of FAMAS | CaliCamo is 0–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (38% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in sand, brown, orange or muted gold tones blend with the desert palette of the camo. Holo or gold stickers on the body side give a restrained accent without clashing with the salmon grip.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a lower value means cleaner edges on the carry handle and magazine.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the bottom of the magazine, as these parts lose paint first.
• The spotted pattern looks much the same on every copy, so placement differences matter little.
• For Souvenir copies, look at the applied stickers and how they sit on the camo.
