Skin overview

FAMAS | Colony in Battle-Scarred keeps its khaki and grey scheme only in patches, with large areas of exposed dark metal. Because the finish is a simple spray coat, heavy wear turns it into a rough, weathered rifle rather than a damaged artwork. It suits players who like a beaten-up look on a cheap gun.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, carry handle, handguard and the long barrel are painted a pale sandy khaki with a slight yellow tint. The pistol grip, trigger guard and magazine are grey, and the rear of the stock combines a khaki butt section with a grey panel near the cheek area.

Large areas of the carry handle, handguard and barrel are down to dark metal, and the magazine and butt are heavily chipped. Khaki survives mainly on the flat sides of the receiver and stock. The grey on the grip is patchy. In game the rifle reads as rough and weathered, though this range does not reach the absolute maximum of wear.
