Show allAllSkin overview
Contrast Spray is a pale camouflage of short sprayed strokes in cream and muted brown-grey. In Battle-Scarred the edges and raised parts are heavily chipped, so dark metal patches mix with the light paint and the rifle looks rough and weathered. The skin's float range does not go all the way to the most damaged values, so even these copies keep the camouflage recognisable.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, carry handle, handguard and stock are covered in a light cream base with short, thick strokes of greyish taupe sprayed diagonally across them. The pistol grip, trigger guard and magazine carry the same pattern, so the rifle reads as one continuous pale camouflage.
Heavy chipping covers the carry handle, handguard, grip, magazine and all stock edges, with large dark metal areas showing through. The light paint becomes patchy, and the pattern looks rough and uneven. Because the float range stops short of the most damaged values, the worst copies still keep a fair amount of camouflage. The centre of the stock and receiver sides hold the most remaining paint.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The float of FAMAS | Contrast Spray ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Office Collection with 6 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 6 skins of the FAMAS in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted stickers in beige, brown, olive or grey blend with the pale camouflage, while a single dark or black sticker gives contrast against the light paint. The flat side of the stock and the receiver above the grip are the most visible placements.
What to check before buying
- Check the top edge of the carry handle and the bottom of the magazine, since these show wear first on this finish.
- Within Field-Tested and lower grades, look at the float position, as low floats keep noticeably more cream paint than high ones.
- The sprayed strokes vary in placement between copies, so look at the inspect view if you want a particular look on the stock or receiver.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how worn they are.
