Skin overview

This FAMAS carries a feathered owl motif in orange, brown and red over a dark base. In Well-Worn the raised parts lose paint and the dark metal starts to show through, giving the artwork a weathered, aged look. The owl and the larger feather shapes remain readable, though the fine detail softens.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The base of the rifle is a dark teal-grey, covered almost everywhere with curved feather shapes in orange, red, brown and yellow. The stock holds the main motif: the mechanized owl with round yellow-orange eyes surrounded by layered feathers.

The carry handle, barrel and magazine show clear patches of bare dark metal. The stock edges are worn and the owl's eyes start to lose colour. In game the rifle looks faded and darker overall. The middle of the receiver and the grip keep most of their paint.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of FAMAS | Eye of Athena is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in orange, gold, brown or dark teal sit well with the feathered artwork. Placements on the receiver side work better than on the stock, where they would cover the owl.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the owl artwork.
  • Inspect the top of the carry handle and the magazine edges, which lose paint first.
  • Check the owl's eyes on the stock, as they are the focal point of the design.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they suit the warm palette.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget-minded players who like the aged, weathered look.
  • Those who care more about the motif than about clean paint.
  • An inexpensive way to get the owl with character.
