Show allAllSkin overview
Hexane covers the FAMAS in a navy honeycomb pattern with steel-blue lines and patches of muted red, while the grip stays a plain blue-grey. In Field-Tested the hexagons are still clearly readable, but edges and protruding parts show scuffs where the base metal comes through. For a dark, utilitarian finish this wear fits the style rather than spoiling it.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver, carry handle, handguard and magazine are covered in a dark slate-navy base with a continuous grid of thin steel-blue hexagon outlines, and many cells are filled with irregular dull red flecks. The pistol grip and trigger guard are left in a plain matte blue-grey, which separates the lower part of the rifle from the patterned body.
Scuffs become visible along the carry handle, the front of the handguard, the magazine edges and the rear of the stock, with metal showing through in patches. The red flecks look somewhat faded in these areas. The flat sides of the receiver still hold the grid well, so the pattern stays recognisable in game. The grip keeps its plain colour with only light rubbing on the edges.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of FAMAS | Hexane ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of Field-Tested look close to Well-Worn.
- Look at the carry handle and magazine edges in the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
- Pattern placement shifts the red flecks only slightly, so it rarely needs special attention on this skin.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, which change the look and are not removed with the item.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players looking for an affordable FAMAS with a recognisable pattern.
- Fans of dark, utilitarian finishes where light wear suits the style.
- A practical everyday choice for play.
