FAMAS | Meltdown (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Meltdown turns the FAMAS into a mottled yellow and dark brown hazard print with metallic highlights. In Field-Tested the anodized layer starts to lift on the edges of the carry handle and the muzzle, showing bare metal. From normal distance the pattern still reads clearly, and the worn spots add a used, industrial look that suits the theme.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The whole body of the FAMAS, including the carry handle and the receiver, is covered with small yellow and olive-green nuclear hazard symbols packed tightly on a dark brown to black base. The metallic paint catches light, and orange accents appear near the front of the body and the handle.

Bare metal shows through on the carry handle edge, the muzzle area and the stock corners. Light scratches start to break up the symbols on the front of the receiver. At normal distance the hazard pattern still reads well, with some loss of gloss. The central sides of the receiver and most of the stock surface remain largely intact.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade show noticeably more bare metal.
• Look at the top edge of the carry handle and the muzzle, as these parts lose paint first.
• Review applied stickers and a name tag in the inspect view, because they change the look of the busy pattern.
• Inspect the stock corners on worn copies to see how far the anodized layer has gone.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the full hazard print in game without paying for a clean grade.
• Those who like the used industrial look that worn edges add to this theme.
• A practical pick for everyday play.
