Skin overview

FAMAS | Meltdown covers the rifle in a dense pattern of small nuclear hazard symbols in yellow and olive green over a dark brown base. The metallic paint gives the pattern a soft sheen. In Factory New the symbols stay sharp and the colour fields keep a clean edge, so the busy print reads as one even, glossy surface.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole body of the FAMAS, including the carry handle and the receiver, is covered with small yellow and olive-green nuclear hazard symbols packed tightly on a dark brown to black base. The metallic paint catches light, and orange accents appear near the front of the body and the handle. The pistol grip and the trigger guard stay mostly dark with lighter metal details, while the magazine is left in plain silver-grey metal. The stock carries the same print, with a lighter worn-looking patch near the butt. On worn copies the anodized layer wears off first on the top edge of the carry handle, the muzzle and the corners of the stock, then on the flat sides of the receiver.

The anodized layer is intact on every part of the rifle. The hazard symbols have crisp outlines and the metallic sheen is even across the handle, receiver and stock. In game the rifle looks glossy and saturated. Nothing on the body shows bare metal.
