Skin overview

Valence keeps its recognisable look in the middle of the range: a dark rifle with red line work and bright orange touches on the barrel and bolt. In Field-Tested the grey surface starts to look used, with scuffs on protruding edges and some thinning of the lines. The overall red-and-grey design is still easy to read in hand.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and the long carry handle are finished in dark gunmetal grey, crossed by thin red lines that run along the contours like circuit traces. The charging handle and the bolt rod are bright orange-red, and an orange honeycomb-like band sits along the side of the body above the trigger guard.

Scuffs become visible on the carry handle, the stock edges and the magazine lips, and some red lines along these edges thin out. The grey base loses part of its even tone and starts to look like used metal. In game the design still reads clearly, with the orange barrel and bolt standing out. The flat sides of the receiver and the grip mostly stay clean.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and dark metallic stickers match the grey base and red line work without breaking the scheme. Orange accents can echo the barrel and charging handle, while placing stickers on the receiver side keeps the carry handle pattern visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the red lines on the carry handle noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the top of the carry handle and the stock edges first, as these lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Inspect applied stickers and any name tag, because they change both the look and the value of the copy.
• Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir if that matters to you, since both versions exist.
