Show allAllSkin overview
Black Sand is recognised by its sharp tan wedges laid over olive green, framed by black lines and dark hardware. In Field-Tested the camo character of the design hides scuffs well, so light scratches on the edges blend into the pattern. The overall colour balance still reads clearly at normal distance.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver carries an olive green base broken by large tan wedges and black outlined panels, while its top rail and the trigger area stay dark. The barrel is black with tan bands, and the muzzle device has a tan tip.
Scuffs spread to the barrel bands, the scope rings and the edges of the stock. Some tan panels show light abrasion where they meet the black outlines. In game the camo layout hides much of this wear. The central receiver panels still look clean.

Stickers and crafts
Stickers in gold, tan, black or olive tones match the artwork without breaking the camo look. Placing them on the receiver side next to the tan wedges keeps the layout balanced, while bright blue or pink stickers will stand out strongly against the scheme.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the tan bands.
- Look at the muzzle tip and scope rings first, as these parts show wear earliest.
- Inspect the stock edges and the bottom of the magazine on Field-Tested and lower copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they match the tan and olive scheme.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want a balanced copy where the camo hides light scuffs.
- Buyers who use the G3SG1 occasionally on the terrorist side.
- Conclusion: a practical middle option for regular play.
