Skin overview

This G3SG1 finish is a tan and black military camo with angular blocks rather than soft blotches. In Well-Worn the tan panels lose part of their colour on edges and raised parts, giving the rifle a used field look. The dark base parts and the general layout of the pattern remain readable.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver carries an olive green base broken by large tan wedges and black outlined panels, while its top rail and the trigger area stay dark. The barrel is black with tan bands, and the muzzle device has a tan tip.

The tan bands on the barrel and scope are noticeably faded with metal showing through. The stock edges and the lower part of the magazine have visible chipping. The olive base on the receiver starts to look patchy. The overall pattern is still recognisable from the player's view.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of G3SG1 | Black Sand is 0–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, tan, black or olive tones match the artwork without breaking the camo look. Placing them on the receiver side next to the tan wedges keeps the layout balanced, while bright blue or pink stickers will stand out strongly against the scheme.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the tan bands.
  • Look at the muzzle tip and scope rings first, as these parts show wear earliest.
  • Inspect the stock edges and the bottom of the magazine on Field-Tested and lower copies.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they match the tan and olive scheme.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who still want a recognisable pattern.
  • Players who like a used field look on a military camo.
  • Conclusion: a cheaper copy that keeps the scheme readable.
